deaths of children
• The stories then come to life

• Katurian: writer of all the stories; depressed

• Katurian is being held in interrigation and
are being questioned about the murders
from the stories
• Michael admits to three of the murders

• Katurian wants to blame it all on his
brother

• Police suspect and charge Katurian for
killing his brother and parents

• Ariel protests all the writings and destroys
them by burning
• Katurian is against this
• When he is about to finish, he is killed by
