the pleasure of observing Mr. Cordenons’s development over the past six years, and I can state with
confidence that he is a motivated and responsible person with a high degree of integrity. As such, I
expect that he will be a very positive addition to your institution.
As the President of Associazione Italia Arbitri, Sezione “G. Guarini”, Pordenone Italy (Italian
Referee Association, section “G. Guarini”, Pordenone, Italy) I feel that I know Mr. Cordenons quite
well. He began beeing a referee at local level and right after, in one year, at regional level. In this
role, he had a considerable amount of responsabilities, all of them handled effortlessly and due to
his dedication and attention to detail, is still now a benchmark for our association.
At the same time, I can state with confidence that due to the nature of the referee activity he has
shown excellent communication, problem solving and teamwork skills. He has always dealt both in
normal and difficult situation with positive attitude, professionalism and dedication committed to
excellence and success.
Due to all of these positive aspects he has become an important, effective, and integral part of our
team, expecially thanks to his English proficiency. In several situations, we knew we can depend on
him whenever or wherever it was necessary. To name but a few:
• officer for two years for the Scottish U16 National Team during an UEFA’s Tournament
organized in our province;
• referee in several matches where one or both team were foreigners.
Based on my observation of his abilities, I strongly believe he has the potential to be an outstanding
