● Replicated the official website and demonstrated how Liferay was best optimized for its operability
ACADEMIC PROJECTS
Prediction of Bus Arrival Time using GPS
● Developed an Android Application using Android Studio which gave city bus users estimated time for a bus to reach their location
● Real-time implementation done using Google Maps API
● Used ASP.NET to build server-side website for administrators and Microsoft SQL server for Data storage and Management
● Published a technical paper on this project in the International Journal for Research in Applied Science and Engineering Technology
(ISSN 2321-9653) Volume 5, Issue 8, August 2017
House Price Prediction using Linear Regression
● Developed a tool for predicting house prices in the real estate market
● Created datasets with housing parameters for an area and implemented multi-variate linear regression in Python to make use of
these datasets to predict the future prices
Multiplayer Tic-tac-toe using Socket Programming
● Remade the classic Tic-tac-toe game which implemented multiplayer features
● Used socket programming in Java to make the game and implement multiplayer features
Online Learning Website
● Created Academica, an online learning website as a part of Web Technologies course
● Used HTML, CSS, PHP and JavaScript to implement the basic functionalities along with HTML5 for video embedding features.
Voice Identification using Correlation
● Made a tool which used correlation in MATLAB
● Created a dataset of pre-recorded voice samples stored in .wav format which were then matched using correlation
● Obtained maximum accuracy of 85% in identification (85 out of 100 samples correctly identified)
