Both girls and boys considers that the most common forms of abuse among
classmates are:
Laugh at someone (in person)
Insult someone, call them names (in person)
Girls also believe that isolating someone, not letting them participate in games is
a common form of abuse

Where did it happen?
Have you ever been scared of coming to school?
Most of the respondents have not been intimidated or bullied by
classmates
20% of the girls and 31% of the boys consider they have sometimes been
intimidated or bullied outside school or in the corridors.
Only 21% of the girls and 15% of the boys have been sometimes scared
of coming to school whereas 78% of the girls and 82% of the boys have never
been scared of coming to school.

Boys and girls gave different answers when it comes to telling someone if
they are being bullied:
Girls prefer to tell someone in the family (30% of the respondents) or a
teacher (20% of the respondents)
Boys prefer to tell a classmate (22% of the respondents) or someone in the
family (21% of the respondents)

Have you ever bullied (bothered, insulted, hit, threatened...) a classmate on social
networks?
If you have taken part in bullying, why did you do it?
58% of the boys have never or hardly ever bullied a classmate in person and 40% of the boys
have sometimes done it; whereas 72% of the girls have never or hardly ever bullied a
classmate in person and 27% of the girls have sometimes done it.
77% of the boys have never or hardly ever bullied a classmate on social networks and 18% of
the boys have sometimes done it; whereas 85% of the girls have never or hardly ever bullied a
classmate on social networks and 14% of the girls have sometimes done it.
The main reason why the students bullied a classmate are different for boys and girls:
Boys bullies a classmate because they were provoked (33%) or as a joke (20%).
Girls bullies a classmate as a joke (21%) or because they were provoked (17%).

29% of the boys and 30% of the girls consider that incidents never occur at school;
43% of the boys and 37% of the girls consider that incidents (insulting people, calling them
names, laughing at them, inflicting slight or more serious body harm on them, threatening them,
rejecting them) occur sometimes at school;
28% of the boys and 30% of the girls consider that incidents never occur quite often at school.
Most of the respondents ( 30% of the boys and 40% of the girls) don’t know how could this
problem be solved
Most of the respondents ( 29% of the boys and 26% of the girls consider that this problem could
be solved by teacher’s intervention

prefer to step in and help the person being bullied;
15% of the girls and 9% of the boys tell somebody about the
situation;
9% of the boys consider that this is not their problem and do

28. The comments, suggestions,
recommendations
We should intervene when someone is emotionally or physically assaulted!
Bullying is not a solution no matter what, I seem to harm a person is a total lack of respect for
anyone, does not help anything to hurt a person!
When we have a picture of another person not a post on a social network against her will;
Video surveillance in all areas of the school;
Psychological counseling;
In case of bullying must be notified teacher, head teacher, principal, parents;
We can not stop harassment because if you want to defeat a harasser you have to turn into a
harasser;
I'd like to learn how to protect myself from harassment.
