The three main areas I’m going to cover with you today are: 1. Audience: How we as communicators face rapid changes in the use of technology and how people want to be communicated to. 2. The issues: What push back I’ve seen when speaking with management about this topic and you may have too. I’ll provide some real world examples of what’s working and what’s not. 3. Show the opportunity that exists so you can help management better understand how your company can benefit from social media. Most of us in this room know that people don’t easily adopt change, but thank goodness we eventually do, or I’d still look like this!
