Earth Station - HD uplink & Down Digital Earth station uplinks the programmes at C-band to
INSAT- 4B satellite, carries 12 Ku-band and 12 C-band transponders to provide EIRP of 52 dBW and
39 dBW respectively.
The uplink & downlink channels are DD-National, DD-Urdu, DD-Bharati, DD-India, DD-Sports,
DD-Rajya Sabha, DD-Feed, and DD-News.

2. PROJECT WORK
Major Project: Vehicle security system which includes following objectives:
 GPS tracking of vehicle
 To avoid drunk driving by using gas sensor
 To detect the fuel theft from the vehicle
 To send SMS in case of accident
Role: Research work, Identification of suitable components, Circuit fabrication.
Minor Project: Battery Charger Circuit Using SCR.
SCR is a current trigger device & a switch. It is used in rectifiers, inverter circuits, power control
circuits, speed control circuit, automobile ignition circuits etc.
