My activities were two boiler instruments calibration with DOOSAN Co.
• WEST DAMIETTA SIMPLE CYCLE POWER PLANT 500 MW (4x125MW) GAS
TURBINE PROJECT (GE energy)
My activities were four gas turbine (GE) instruments calibration and commissioning with
Electro Tharwat Company.
From :(3/2008 until 10/2009)
Instruments and control engineer in Cairo north power station (750MW combined cycle) 2 Gas
turbines (Mitsubishi), 1 Steam Turbine (Hitachi), 2 HRSG (NEM) &DCS System (FOXBORO).
Cairo North power station DCS System upgrades:
1. Upgrade the System network architecture after replacing the DNBT modules by 2 NCNI, 2
Network switches and 5 RCNI modules.
2. Upgrade the system software from Foxboro I/A Series V6.5 to I/A series V7.1.4 with all its
associated software (Fox View, Fox Draw, Fox CAE, System Definition).
3. Installation for the new workstations from scratch, configuration for all the system software (Fox
View, Fox Draw, Alarm Manager, SOE, AIM Historian).
Note: attendance and participate in the installations and start up of the plant [DCS control system,
fixing, connecting& calibrating electronic transmitters (Pressure, Temp., Level, Flow…)]
From :(7/2006 until 3/2008).
Instruments engineer at El-Nasr Co. for Intermediate Chemicals (NCIC- belong to ministry of
defense) in fayoum branch in Aluminum Sulfate Plant, Sulfuric acid plant, Turbine generator with
7.5 Mwatt .
