ARTS with new brand appearance
With a new logo, a new message - "Extending Your Success" - and a new
look, ARTS is now even more strongly positioned in the industry. Under
the newly defined umbrella brand, ARTS unites the three service fields of
experts, processes, and solutions. With these core areas ARTS supports
aerospace companies in realising the dream of more efficient, easier,
faster, and safer flying, while constantly exploring innovations in terms of
products and services. The company's well-known traditional logo has
been shaped over 15 years. Now ARTS is focussing on a new brand
strategy with a modern brand identity, to structure its product portfolio
in terms of communicating services and customer advantages. This
historic change was preceded by a year-long process of analysis and
market research. With the triad of experts, processes, and solutions, in
combination with the new slogan "Extending Your Success", ARTS
promises to "extend the success of aerospace companies across Europe
with people and their knowledge or turnkey solutions."

ARTS top job – process mechanic
ARTS top job - Process Mechanic
Support our team in Donauwörth as a process mechanic for plastics and rubber
technology with our customer Airbus Helicopters Deutschland GmbH. In your
future job you will be responsible, among other things, for the production of
fibre composite components as per the hand lay-up method. Preferable would
be a completed training as a process mechanic for plastics and rubber
technology, and several years of professional experience in manufacturing and
production.

ARTS top job – logistics coordinator in Toulouse
Join ARTS as a logistics coordinator in Toulouse with our customer Airbus
Operations GmbH, and design the aerospace industry together with us. In
your future job you will be the connecting link between customers and
suppliers, responsible for forecasting material requirements and
availability, confirming availability, along with negotiating procurement
times. Preferable would be completed vocational training, and at least 2
years of experience in the logistics field.

Opening of a cutting-edge aviation research centre

3. The Centre for Applied Aviation Research (ZAL TechCenter) opened in
Hamburg-Finkenwerder on 07 March. It forms the interface between
science, business, and the city of Hamburg, with the aim of securing and
continually expanding the world's third largest centre of civil aviation in
Hamburg. The 100-million-euro research centre provides around 600 jobs
within 26,000 square meters. The intent is for researchers and developers
from Airbus and Lufthansa Technik, from Diehl Aerospace and TU
Hamburg-Harburg, suppliers, universities, and institutions such as the
German Centre for Aerospace Research (DLR), to more rapidly prepare
innovative products and concepts for launch in international aviation, all
under one roof. The civil aviation industry is one of the most important
economic sectors for Hamburg, led by the companies Airbus and
Lufthansa Technik, which at 20 percent each are also the largest of nine
ZAL TechCenter shareholders, apart from the city of Hamburg. The total
investment of 100 million euros was provided via a loan from the
shareholders, to be repaid with centre rental income. ZAL will make a
significant contribution to building a new form of scientific and technical
cooperation. ZAL will also focus the international profile of the Hanseatic
city in the applied aviation research market segment, and represents an
additional economic magnet for the Hamburg metropolitan region.

The review portal ​kununu took the
occasion of International Women's
Day on 08 March to take a closer look
under the magnifying glass at the
equality of women and men in
German companies. ARTS achieved
4th place in the ranking. We are very
proud of our ladies!
The aircraft with the sexy backside

4. The Airlander 10 is a true colossus with a sexy bum. At least, you can
associate a nice bum on the aircraft when you look at some photos of it.
At 92 meters long and 42 meters wide, it is certainly not only the longest
aircraft in the world, but also as large as a football field. An Airbus A380
appears tiny next to the Airlander. However, there is only space for 10
tons of cargo and 49 passengers on board, because the helium tanks take
up most of the volume. But thanks to the huge tanks the Airlander can
stay in the air for up to three weeks. It is also much more environmentally
friendly than a helicopter or aircraft. The aircraft was financed via
crowdfunding. It will only take successful test flights before commercial
production begins. And there is also a version being planned which can
carry up to 1,000 tons of cargo.
