FarmIT - When Connected Agriculture Is More Than Farming Connected Agriculture is about leveling the field for over 550-million women farmers, about 70% of the total.  They feed the world by growing the crops on less than 2.5 acres of land.  In most cases their land is less productive, yet they are the backbone of world’s food supply chain and also of their families.  Due to inherent biases arising out of age-old traditions, very few have any land rights, and are unable to get farm credits.  They have limited access to improved inputs, like seeds, fertilizers, farm equipment, etc. Despite being equally productive, crop yields and prices they realize are lower than their male counterparts...
