 Conveyancer since 1988. Founding member of Black Conveyancers Association in South Africa. Handled
conveyancing for STANDARD BANK, NEDBANK, NBS ,NRB AND FNB and other financial institutions.
 Currently on panel for SANRAL /AURECON JV,TRANSNET and other corporate/municipal council,estate
agents and individual clients doing property transfers
 Handled servitude registrations for ESKOM and handling resettlement transfers for ESKOM on new built
projects
 On panel for Department of Rural Development and Land Reform both national and provincial.
 Duly instructed by ESKOM handled registration of 10 trusts for families involved in
resettlements/relocations as a result of the INGULA PUMPED STORAGE PROJECT. Consulted with
families, formed trusts and registered same with Masters offices. Assist families to manage same on
ongoing basis.
 Attend to all aspects of property law, property litigation, servitudes, eviction and land disputes
 Negotiate with role players and attending to numerous disputes representing ESKOM in Land Claims Court.
 Resettlement and relocation disputes and negotiations
 Attend to mining rights, prospecting rights and arranging grants of mineral rights in SADC countries.

 Serves on LSP Panel representing evicted farm employees/labour tenants in Land Claims Court since 2008
International Experience:
 Service clients in SADC /Africa region including Mauritius, India ,UK and Canada. Advised 2 sets of
clients who set up 5MW hydro in India and currently advising clients on 15mw solar plant in Mauritius
 ESKOM trained for over 5 years and well versed on all issues relating to the commissioning of a power
plant and gained good subject knowledge. Attended international trade fairs India/Africa partnership,
exhibitions and did some additional training in the power and energy sector completing courses in PPP as
well as in Project Finance.
 As a trained mediator and arbitrator and given my international qualifications I enjoy ADR and Arbitration
which is more cost effective, speedy and acceptable.

 Actively promotes Mauritius Court of International Arbitrators as a seat for arbitration disputes in Sub
Saharan Africa.
 Judicially trained as a High Court Judge and prepared to serve the judiciary on an ad hoc part time bases.
Acted in other courts since 2000.
 Dealt with complicated litigation appearing as counsel and saved counsel fees in all his Land Claims Court,
Labour Court and High Court matters handled over the past 20 years.
