This document summarizes a project presentation on developing a web application for a smart blood bank. It includes sections on introduction, problem statement, abstract, ER diagram, literature survey, software scheme, application, and conclusion. The project aims to create an online platform to manage donor information, blood bank stocks, and connect patients to donors more efficiently. It will use React JS for the front end, MongoDB for the database, and JavaScript for functionality. This system intends to streamline operations, reduce errors, save time and minimize paper use for blood banks and donors.

4. Introduction
The WEB APPLICATION FOR SMART BLOOD BANK is to
create an E-information about the Donor And Organization.
The Donor can Request for joining a organization online.
They only have to register themselves in the organization
website.
Through this website any person who is interested in
donating the blood can register himself in the same way if
any organization wants to register itself with this site that
can also register.
Admin is the main authority who can do addition, deletion,
and modification if required.
The main goal of this project is to manage the details of
blood, donor, blood bank stock, patient and organization.
5. Problem Statement
Blood availability system is required during an organ
transplant, accidents, cancer treatment etc. The manual blood
donation system has many disadvantages which includes, it is
too time consuming, often leads to error prone results,
consumes lot of manpower, lack of donor information,
retrieval of data takes a lot of time, percentage of accuracy is
less. In the time of emergency, it becomes difficult to approach
the right donor. Rare blood groups are not available all the
time at all blood banks and recipients find difficulties to track
the right blood donor.
6. Abstract
The Web Application for Smart Blood Bank is an
application that helps in managing various blood
bank operations effectively.
The user will get e- certificate for donating the
blood. This will reduce the use of papers that are
required for filling the information. .
It can reduce time to a grater extend.
The patient can fill/update the information from
anywhere and anytime..

9. SOFYWARE SCHEME
REACT JS:
React (also known as React.js or ReactJS) is a free and open-source front-end JavaScript
library for building user interfaces based on UI components. It is maintained
by Meta (formerly Facebook) and a community of individual developers and companies.
MONGODB:
MongoDB is a source-available cross-platform document-oriented database program.
Classified as a NoSQL database program, MongoDB uses JSON-like documents with
optional schemas. MongoDB is developed by MongoDB Inc. and licensed under the Server-
Side Public License (SSPL) which is deemed non-free by several distributions. It is a
document database used to build highly available and scalable internet applications.
JAVASCRIPT:
JavaScript is a text-based programming language used both on the client-side and server side
that allows you to make web pages interactive. Where HTML and CSS are languages that
gives structure and style to web pages, JavaScript gives web pages interactive elements that
engage a user.
10. Application
This project has covered all the three units i.E., Donors, blood
banks and hospitals.
By making an application and create a database which have
record of all blood units in organization, blood banks and as
well as all donors who wants to donate blood.
The patient(donor) can register for any blood donation camp
anytime by just using mobile phone and internet.
11. Conclusion
This project gives a reliable platform for both donors and
acceptors.
The online blood bank availability system is a website that
helps to minimize human errors and problems pertaining to
data redundancy.
This project can have a good impact in the future as it will
save time, reduce error, minimize the use of paper etc.
