2. Teacher notes
• Students could do this starter orally in pairs, with each partner giving as
many sentences as possible in the one minute (taking turns). No repetition
allowed.
• If you do the above, each partner could translate what the other person
said.
• Remind them they can use different verb tenses (if they have covered this)
• Or students can do it on paper individually or in pairs.
• Alter the time limit to suit your class.
• Edit the slides to suit your needs.
• Note the emphasis on retrieval of VERBS here.
