3. Introduction
 불량한 구강 위생은 치은염이나 치주염을
유발 할 수 있다.
 40개 이상의 구강청결제 중 3개만이 안전
성과 효과를 입증받았다.
 cetylpyridinium chloride(CPC) 0.075%와
0.10%가 포함된 두 종류의 구강청결제를
평가하였다.

13. Discussion
 Alcohol-free CPC rinse는 chlorhexidine에 비
하여 CPC rinse는 alcohol-free라는 장점이 있
다.
 고농도 alcohol은 구강에 작열감을 줄 수 있다.
 넓은 범위의 항균 작용을 하는 CPC를 이용한
구강청결제를 하루 2번씩 사용하면 치태를 조
절하고 치은염을 예방할 수 있다.
