Section 1: Clinic structure
1.1 CLINIC/HOSPITAL PROFILE:
Rimuka Group of Clinics provide services at two sites in Rimuka Township. The
Group of Clinics comprise of Rimuka Adult Clinic (caters for population above 5yrs),
Rimuka Anti Retroviral Therapy Clinic (ART), Rimuka Family and Child Health
Centre ( for children under 5 and Rimuka Maternity Home ( only public maternity
institution for the whole town). The clinics are situated 5km from Kadoma City centre
in the western side of the city. They serve a total population of about 60 000
according to the 2002 census projections.
The catchment areas include Rimuka high density suburb, Munhumutapa and
surrounding peri urban farms. The maternity labour ward is the only public maternity
home in the town and serves clients from the whole city and peri- urban areas.
