Experience, knowledge, staging options
Dave Gaudet, Principal / Exec Producer, Dave & Co., Chicago
There are very few in our industry that have the knowledge that you possess from years of
experience in a multitude of situations
Susan Tarantino, Marketing Mgr. (former Exec. Producer) Merestone, Scottsdale, AZ.
The first thing which pops into my head is “Expertise” given your years and breadth of
experience. The second would be Teamwork…you’re one of the few TDs I have EVER met that
can actually “work” with Producers, clients and company managers without an overblown sense of
ego or “must be done my way.”
Jeffery Youngs, Principal, Youngs Communication, Santa Monica, CA.
How about “Handled”. Or “Well Cared For”? And throw in a little “Experience” for good
measure.
That’s my experience!
Todd Bucton, Principal / Exec Producer, InLuminus, Chicago
Experience. That's the difference.
Tracy Garrity, Tracy Garrity Productions, Scottsdale, AZ.
For me, you set the bar for technical direction. I learned this business expecting the things
that you brought to every project - creative technical solutions, complete crew management and all
negotiations, spot on drawings that include, and therefore reveal, every little detail, scenic and
lighting design/management, on-site scheduling, thorough venue and technical team
communications, and ultimately overseeing flawless on-site execution. I don't know how you put a
brand on all of this, but the experienced big picture is what you bring to the table;
The ability to manage the minutia and still see the big picture through experienced eyes.
Not exactly one word, but those are my thoughts. :)
Ken Marks, Principal / Exec Producer, KMI Marketing, Chicago
Certainty, resources, fairness
Talia Rosalies, Producer, Fireworks, Vancouver, Canada
experience, a hugely valuable asset AND the ability to jump in on a project mid way and
roll with the punches (couldn't quite think of a single word to convey that)

Toronto Ontario
The one word I would use is: “engaged”. I know you are knowledgeable. I expect you to be up on
the latest trends. I would hope you are flexible after all these years in the business and, indeed all
these things are true. What sets you apart are the fact that you are prepared to engage in both the
client’s and producer’s business in order to make them better.
