16. What is the difference between single entry visa and multiple entry
visa?
- A single entry visa allows you to enter Vietnam once during its validity time.
Therefore, if you want to re-enter to Vietnam, you are required to apply for
multiple entry visa
- A multiple entry visa allows you to enter and exit Vietnam more than once
(as many times as you can) during its validity time.
17. What if my passport has expired? In that case, can I get a visa?
It is impossible for you to be granted a visa in case your passport has expired. In
that case, you have to get it renewed before making visa application. Hence, before
applying for a visa, you should ensure that your passport is at least 6 – month valid

- People who are photographed must dress formally and are not allowed to
wear glasses or headgear that obscures the hair hairline
- Uniforms should not be worn in your photo, except religious clothing that is
worn daily.
- If you normally wear glasses (without tinted lenses), a hearing device, or
similar articles, they may be worn in your photo.
