The Capacity Development Office (CDO) supports the divisions of DESA in the formulation and implementation of the Department’s capacity development approach and promotes coherence as well as integrated delivery of the Department’s capacity development activities. While DESA’s divisions are responsible for the design and implementation of projects and activities, the CDO facilitates the overall coordination, develops guidance and provides quality assurance for DESA’s operational activities for development.
