3. SURAT DIAMOND BOURSE
Located near the international airport, the
Surat Diamond Bourse (SDB) will consist of
nine towers covering 6.6 million square feet.
It will contain its own independent customs
office, international banking facilities and
diamond-testing laboratories, among other
businesses. The bourse will be located inside
a government-planned Diamond Research
and Mercantile (DREAM) City.

reduced demand for diamonds.
