1. If At First You Don’t Succeed, Get Your Butt In Gear
And Get It Done!!

You’ve heard the old saying, “if at first you don’t succeed, try, try again.” I am
proposing that if at first you don’t succeed, figure out why you didn’t, change your
strategy and get it done!
There are a lot of reasons why you may fall flat on your face the first time, or even the
second or third time you start a project. That’s okay!!
Michael Jordan states that he has missed over 9000 shots in his career! NINE
THOUSAND SHOTS!!! He goes on to say that 26 times he has been trusted to make
the winning shot!!!! He then goes even further to say he has failed over and over
again!! Then, and only then, he states that’s why he is successful!!
Now, do you think that Mr. Jordan when he missed those shots his thought was, well
I’ll just try, try again? Heck no! It was probably more like, alright ball, you had your
chance! Now you’re going to do things my way!!
There are literally hundreds of thousands of people who are in situations that they are
of the mindsets that even though things haven’t worked out the way they want, maybe
if they try, try again, something will change.
What if instead, those same people simply said, ENOUGH!! Now it’s time to do things
my way!! What if they said that and then they changed their strategy and then made it
happen?? What if indeed!!
If you are one of those individuals, and you’ve been trying to accomplish a goal, a
lifestyle, financial independence or anything else you are trying to make happen, get
your butt in gear and make it happen!! If, as they say, you and you alone are in charge
of your failures, then you sure as heck are in control of your successes!!!
Do not let anyone or anything control your destiny! If you want a new job, go get it! If
you want to be your own boss, make it happen!! If you want to make your relationship
even stronger, get busy and make it happen too!! Whatever it is the you want to

2. happen, make the decision that you are going to do whatever it takes to make it
happen, and then do it!!
