1. How to activate Chinese on your computer?

3. Click “START”  control panel

4. A pop up window will appear. Click “Clock, Language and Region”

5. A pop up window will appear. Click “Change keyboards or other input methods”

6. A pop up window will appear. Click “Change keyboards”

7. A pop up window will appear. Click “Add”

8. Look for Chinese (Simplified, PRC). Click “Microsoft IME / Microsoft PINYIN”

9. Click “Apply”

10. Make sure you have a language bar. To activate , change language to CH.

11. To type Chinese using Hanyu Pinyin. Make sure your setting is at “ 中 ” . To type English, press ‘shift’ on your keyboard and your setting will be changed to “ 英 ” .
