• Proximity is a basic analytic used within
FOGLIFT to understand whether
potential foreign influencers have
travelled near US equities.
• Proximity can be performed within the
Oracle database using
SDO_GEOM.WITHIN_DISTANCE.

Connections can be created
with 1 or more Oracle
databases or autonomous
databases.

6. Create a Dataset
Several file types can be
imported into Spatial
Studio directly.
Data can be selected from
database connections.

7. Create a New Project
Analysts can work with
spatial data within a
project

8. Add your Dataset to a Project
Available dataset can be
added to the project by
selecting the dataset and
dragging them to the map.

9. Save your Project
Save your project when you
have built your data view.

10. Select Spatial Analysis Tool Within Distance
There are many tools to
select from in Spatial
Studio.
The Within Distance tool is
used to complete a
proximity analysis.

11. Observe Resulting Layer for Insights
The proximity tool
identifies points of interest
and reduces the amount of
data the analyst needs to
work with.
This analytic output is
stored within the database.
