1. Creating Assignments in the NWEA Curriculum for RIT Levels (141 and above):
1. Once you go to the Assignment Builder and click on the NWEA tab (choosing Language Arts in this case), click on
the 13th tab down from the top (Reading Survey w/Goals 2-5 NWEA V4.1 – this coordinates with the version of
the MAP test).
2. If you click on the + sign, this will expand the folder and allow you to see the various RIT levels. The bottom
folder “Word Analysis,” allows you to choose the RIT levels as low as 141.
3. Checkmark the folder in the middle to assign the folder. Click Add Selected Tasks and continue assigning.
