          • His power (authority) in creation. Gen. 1
          • His power (authority) in establishing law and consequence. Gen. 2:15-17; Gen. 3
          • His awesome powerful ability to condemn (judge) and deliver (grace) at the same time: The Flood. Gen. 6-8; 11; Exo. 14; Judges

      • Through God’s righteousness – not ours – we stand justified before Him.
        • You are not saved because you hear, believe, confess, repent and are baptized.
        • You are saved because of God’s power and righteousness which brings about a manifestation of faith in Christ: causing you to believe, confess, repent and be baptized for the forgiveness of your sins. Rom. 1:16-17
        • In other words, your salvation does not reside in you but in the one who made you, whose gift justifies you… who demonstrates His power and righteousness in the believer. Rom. 3:23-26
    9. The Gospel Reveals the Righteousness of God
      • Through God’s righteousness we – righteous men who believe in Christ – live by faith. Rom. 1:17
        • The gospel message is powerful because God graciously saves all who believe on Him through the atoning blood of Jesus Christ.
        • “ From faith to faith” there is a direct correlation between God’s revealed righteousness and power that now works in and through our lives. Rom. 1:17; Phil. 2:12-13
        • The result is that the minds of believers are transformed and manifests a life of faith, showing the righteousness of God. Rom. 12:1-2
    10. Conclusion
      • While the phrase “from faith to faith” may still seem obscure, there is no denying when God’s righteousness is revealed to believers how it transforms their lives.
      • May God’s power and righteousness bring salvation to all who call upon the name of our Lord and Savior.
