Editor's Notes
Intro – hello and thank you for letting me speak here today. Unfortunately, due to the global recession, I have no expensive cellphones or memory sticks to give away like at our last conference. Instead, I can offer you very nice free cappuchino’s at our stand down the corridor. The topic of my talk today is very much inline with what you have heard today. Instead of explaining how to market your business online, I’m going to give you a few new insights and options that can get you connected, get an online presence and get you mobile. The importance of having an online presence has never been more significant than now. In today's economic crisis worldwide especially in the Tourism industry, customers need to reach more people to get the same results. Having a web presence allows customers to find you without expensive marketing campaigns and allows the satisfied customer to bookmark your page for future travel or accommodation. Your business does not exist to the global travellers that you want as potential customers You need to be able to talk to the world and make them aware of that your business can offer them.
