  • Graphing Lines ­ 2 "Using the Intercepts Method" There are 2 Intercepts for any linear equation: • x-intercept: where line crosses the x­axis • y-intercept: where line crosses the y­axis  *to find x-intercept from any eq'n, let y = 0, and solve for x. *to find y-intercept from any eq'n, let x = 0, and solve for y. 2
