Australia’s leading independent, digital publisher, Private Media, today launches My Agenda, a membership-based, online community for ambitious, professional women. It is an extension of Women’s Agenda, a website for career minded women which was launched in August 2012 and is now a leading destination for women.
My Agenda members will have access to exclusive content provided by some of Australia’s most sought-after leadership coaches in a dynamic, personal and interactive setting.
“My Agenda has been designed to combine the existing benefits of Women’s Agenda with some of the benefits of a formal leadership program,” My Agenda editor Georgina Dent says. “No matter the stage or type of a person’s career My Agenda will help them achieve their goals. And it will give them an opportunity to do that with the support and camaraderie of like-minded women.”
The success of Women’s Agenda to date has been driven by the demand for intelligent content to help women successfully navigate their working lives.
Megan Dalla-Camina, Avril Henry and Michelle McQuaid have been engaged as coaches for My Agenda. These three women all enjoyed successful corporate careers before moving into the realm of leadership and professional development. Their collective credentials in fostering female leadership talent are unrivalled.
On learning of My Agenda’s launch at the NAB Women’s Agenda Leadership Awards, Mi9 CEO Mark Britt has signed up as a foundation partner, purchasing memberships for 15 of the company's female leaders.
"This is a pioneering program, one we're excited to be a part of from the very beginning. Diversity is hugely important to us at Mi9 and we love this approach,” Britt said. “Our current workforce is 55% female and the work Women's Agenda does to understand and support women at work is something we absolutely want our Mi9 talent to be involved in.”

Press Release: WomensAgenda launches My Agenda Online community, March 2014

Women’s Agenda responds to audience demand for coaching and support with
launch of My Agenda
Australia’s leading independent, digital publisher, Private Media, today launches My
Agenda, a membership-based, online community for ambitious, professional women. It is
an extension of Women’s Agenda, a website for career minded women which was launched
in August 2012 and is now a leading destination for women.
My Agenda members will have access to exclusive content provided by some of Australia’s
most sought-after leadership coaches in a dynamic, personal and interactive setting.
“My Agenda has been designed to combine the existing benefits of Women’s Agenda with
some of the benefits of a formal leadership program,” My Agenda editor Georgina Dent
says. “No matter the stage or type of a person’s career My Agenda will help them achieve
their goals. And it will give them an opportunity to do that with the support and camaraderie
of like-minded women.”
The success of Women’s Agenda to date has been driven by the demand for intelligent
content to help women successfully navigate their working lives.
“For all the ‘merit’ in the world - talent, education, expertise and skills - Australian women
are still not on equal footing with men in the workplace,” Dent says. “Women’s Agenda has
taken an active leadership role in agitating for change in this regard which has resonated
with the thousands of women who visit the site regularly.”
In addition to seeking collective change, Women’s Agenda aims to empower individual
women by recognizing and supporting the reality of their working lives.
“After launch we quickly realised how many professional working women felt unsupported
or misunderstood by their peers, employers or even their own families in their working
lives,” Women’s Agenda editor Angela Priestley says. “We set about creating a community
to change that.”
My Agenda is an important next step in that process. “We started thinking beyond the
limitations of an online publication and decided to build a membership hub providing
structured development opportunities and access to accomplished professionals and other
successful women,” Dent says. “The program for My Agenda developed from there”.
Megan Dalla-Camina, Avril Henry and Michelle McQuaid have been engaged as
coaches for My Agenda. These three women all enjoyed successful corporate careers
