Learning is a

We will motivate and enthuse each other with a creative and
enjoyable curriculum promoting independence,
high standards and self-confidence. Everyone will be

5. Here’s some tips on how you can stay safe while
having fun. Before you go out, remember the three
Ws:
always tell your parents or carers:
WHERE your are going
WHO you are going with
WHEN you will be at home
6. Make sure you know your home address and telephone number
off by heart.
Give your parents or carers a phone number where you can be
contacted.
If you have a mobile, make sure it is switched on.
If anyone is making you feel unhappy, tell an adult you know and
trust.
Say "No" in a very loud voice if someone wants to touch you
in a way that makes you feel uncomfortable or unhappy.
7. • Shout loudly and try to get away if someone
you don’t like tries to make you go with them
or tries to make you do things you don’t like.
• Never talk to strangers and never take
gifts from them, no matter how friendly
they seem.
• If you get lost in a public place, be careful who
you ask for help. Look for a police officer, or a
shop assistance, or someone with a young child.
9. Hello Amy here, I’m going to tell you about some of the
things that school council do. School council come up with
ideas of new things for the school and have a discussion
about it in a meeting. School council aren’t just to come up
with new ideas if you need someone to talk to you can
come and speak to one of the school council also if you
have any questions or new ideas you can speak to the
school councillor in your class.

14. Breakfast club and after school club!!
Breakfast club and after school club is available to children in reception all the
way up to year 6.At breakfast club and after school club there is lots of different
things to do including: playstations, computers, board games, nintendo wii,
pool, films to watch and you get your breakfast for only £4.00. breakfast club is
ran by Mrs Rogers.

17. • Our assembly hall is a really big room with extremely
cool chairs and a large projection screen.
• On display in the hall we have the work all the way
through school from nursery all the way to year six.
18. In Farringdon Academy we have a learning zone
full of lots of cool stuff like:
Laptops
Computers
Books
Seats
It is a quiet place to go to do independent work.

Welcome, here at Farringdon
academy we have lots of cool
stuff. Such as 33 iPads, 21 touch
screen computers, 30 dell laptops
and lots of more cool stuff.
21. We have to respect our ICT equipment, and to
do that we have to make sure that if we
playuse the iPads, laptops or touch screen
computers, we have to turn the devices off and
put into their cabinets and make sure that they
are plugged in.
If we don’t do this the next people to use them
they either wont work or the batteries will be
flat.

amazing cool art things like:
models, painting and skeches.
Our art room is amazingly huge
and has even got benches to
design on and you can work as a
team.

that you can play.
• It has some wooden carved seats to sit on.
• It also has also got a table to sit at.

They have activities on the floor play.
They also have a climbing frame.

• In the play yard it has lots of painted activities on the
floor.
• It has a amphitheatre and a climbing frame.

• Welcome to F.A.I we have a sports hall we have
football, hockey, hoop, tennis, basketball,
rounder,cricket,netball,dance,baseball you will
have a great time in the P.E hall
• Do you like P.E?
• If you like p.e come down to the P.E hall.

33. • Tell someone what is happening - someone you
feel you can trust, maybe a parent, a relative, a
teacher or a youth leader.
• You have a right to be, and feel, safe!
• Write down what happens and the dates, places
and times when it happens.
• Think up some replies to comments that the
bullies are making.
34. • Do you know why and how you are bullying others?
• Think about the pain bullying can cause - do you really
want to hurt or upset people?
• It is not big to make others feel small.
• Bullying will not win you any real friends.
• Ask for help to stop you bullying others - try talking to an
adult or a friend you trust.
35. • An onlooker is someone who stands by while
someone else is being bullied. Or they may join in
with name calling, even though they are not the
ringleader.
• Listen to friends who are being bullied or who are
bullying other children. Try talking to them about
what their feelings are and how they are behaving.
36. • Don't join in with people who bully - it isn't big
to make others feel small.
• Try not to ignore things you know are wrong
because you are worried that you will be
bullied too.
• Tell an adult about what is happening.
