Well, here's the problem: My father was a military veteren who passed away during 2002. My mother receives veteren annuity for being the wife of a deceased veteren. I started attending college during the fall of 2004. My tuition was fully covered by a scholarship (It was around $22,000 a year to attend) and my mother was able to co-sign with me to get loans for the rest. However, my scholarship ran out in the fall of 2005 and things had turned for the worse so my mother was forced to file for bankruptcy. As it is I cannot afford to pay for college on my own and my mother cannot help me get loans in her financial state. I can't get them either because I have bad credit. Because my father was a military veteren does that mean that I'm supposed to be receiving money for college as well? I'm really unsure but I hope that someone can point me into the right direction to do some research. I miss school, I kept great grades, and I really want to go back. Please help!
