Men’s Haircutting Mrs. Smith 3/29/2011
Some Facts There are over 310 million people in the United States. If 50% are male, there are about 155 million men in the United States.  The average price for a man’s haircut is around $20. Most men need a haircut every 4 to 6 weeks.
Objectives Understand the difference between female and male haircuts. Explain the steps to completing the renegade haircut (180°) and the “L” cut (90°). Be familiar with beard growth, maintenance, and designs. Understand how to counterbalance with beards. Perform the Renegade haircut and Renegade beard utilizing shears. Perform the “L” Cut and triangle beard design. Utilize an air former and selected products to complete hairstyles.  Practice proper safety and sanitation procedures.
