• Cleantech emerged as the surprise winner by
attracting the highest amount of investment in seed
stage. Although this was due to 1 large investment
into Greywater Technologies by Nexus Venture
Partners (link to deal)
• Happiest Minds and the Ecommerce frenzy
accounted for a large portion of investments
• Although Technology startups remained the highest
invested in 2012, Agri, HealthCare, Media and
Financials Services have also seen some action
