In the most basic sense, employee assessments provide a systematic approach for gathering information about people in the work place. The knowledge gained from these assessments can be used to make a variety of decisions, including whether an applicant is well suited for a particular position or which career path makes sense for a current employee to pursue.

All rights reserved. 7 Ways Organizations Can Use Employee Assessments  In the most basic sense, employee assessments provide a systematic approach for gathering information about people in the work place.  The knowledge gained from these assessments can be used to make a variety of decisions, including whether an applicant is well suited for a particular position or which career path makes sense for a current employee to pursue.  Organizations conducting employee assessments do so with a specific purpose in mind.  For example, if you’re making a hiring decision, you’ll be conducting an evaluation process to select the best candidate.  During that evaluation, you can use an employee assessment as a tool to help you measure aspects of the candidate’s qualifications that would be difficult to determine solely through interviewing and reference checking.
