Big, passers by cant miss.

Environmental/Nature friendly

Red and white(Green themed)

What type of floor does the store have? How does this effect the environment?
Both,concrete and carpeted

How high is the ceiling? How does this feel?

How brightly lit is the store? How does this affect you?
Pretty bright. Went after dark, so i could tell the difference.

How loud is the environment?
Very quiet

What is causing the noise?
N/a

Is there music playing? If so, does it fit the environment?
No

Is the store warm or cold?
Warm for a cold day out.

Is the store crowed with merchandise or is it sparse?
Crowded with merchandise.
Does the store have a distinctive smell?
No

Where is the cash register located?
Right by the cashier.

How visible is the store security?
No very

How long do you want to stay in this store?
Depends

Does the environment influence the perceived value of the merchandise?
Yes

Personnel:

How long does it take before a sales person initiates contact?
Less than a minute

Does the salesperson have a script to follow with each customer?

Does the salesperson treat different customers differently?

Mid 20s, female.

Are the salespeople using the store products?
Yes, some of them

Ice cream/refridgerated drinks

Yes

Outside near the store banner or just as you enter the door.

Wine,healthy snacks,healthy bread.

What items in the store are in the least accessible locations?
The store library(its a health/cooking receipe library)

Where are the most and least expensive products located?
Depends but on an average refridgerated products were expensive.

Are the prices of the products easy to find?
Yes

Are there impulse items near the cash register?
Yes. Candy,Lip balm,gum etc


Customers:

Are most customers alone or with someone else? What is the relationship?
Mostly alone

What is the average age and gender of the customers?
40
When a customer enters the store, do they tend to walk in the same path or direction?
Yes initially but choose different aisles to after that.

How long do customers stay in the store, on average?
15 mins.

Do customer touch the products? Is this encouraged?
Yes

Do most customers appear to be on a mission or are they browsing?
Both

What percent of customers purchase products in the store?
100%


Other Observations:
All the stores i went to had a haloween theme to it, some prominent and others not. In a
restaurant, some prefered to take out compared to another one where people preferred
to eat in. Another store(grocery) gave the customers freedom to wander and explore
the products without keeping an eye on you compared to another smaller store where
you were kept an eye on.
