  • 9. Fort Drum FamilyAs many of us are aware there are Soldiers in ourFormation whose families are in medical need ofa donor; of either blood or bone marrow. Pleasehelp us take a stand against these curable dis-eases. Let us take care of our Battles both in theformation and those that stay home to watch ourbacks.Only 30% of the people who need a bone marrowtransplant will find a donor in time. It can take upto 8 to 10 weeks to process a new register. Letsget these donations in. HHBN is working with theC.W. Bill Young Bone Marrow Donor Center tomake the process as easy as that two mile run.On the 30th and 31st of May 2013 from 0900-1600 we are asking you to stop in to the USOhere on Fort Drum, 10502 S Riva Ridge LoopFort Drum, NY 13602 (315)777-8006, to spendten minutes filling out a form, and getting fourcheek swabs. That is all it takes to become apotential bone marrow donor.
