Patient organizations advocate on behalf of patients and have influence in several countries. A survey found that a majority of patient groups in the UK, US, Germany, and Italy feel the reputation of the pharmaceutical industry has declined. The survey also assessed the UK pharmaceutical industry's performance in various activities, finding both positive and negative views among patient organizations.
