- And this is my issue with the internet- you don’t have to share everything The b
- Much like all of our great mathematicians sold their souls left academia and entered finance Now all our pyschologists dedicate their time to addicting us to the internet
- This is my issue. I believe Donald Trump is an ass and the climate is under terrible threat…I just don’t need to post it to internet.
- And it is affecting our mental health. Where I am guilty is my Saturday nights used to be sacred We also can’t communicate cause everyone’s on a different generational application. The elderly on facebook the young on snapchap, and the minute it gets popular the young jump off like when we looked for alternative music bands. So you can’t communicate. Nobody answers the dam phone etc
- People don’t read; heck they don’t even write suicide notes any more. The internet has made us dumb We have outsourced our brains Heck my daughter asked Daddy how did you answer questions before google!
- So you need to do something about all this stress- well work less and turn off screens. Instead we have to commodify something. Find something that makes you cooler than others. Why not go for a walk; have a spectacular three hour shag with your wife and a laff with mates…no lets bleedin’ meditate, cause that’s another way to seem more manhattan than us rural rubes
- My other issue is that meditation is not about doing it’s about being. Instead its being used a strategy to make better soldiers, better CEOs. Well no I say. It’s about not killing or selling shit. Its about being a person who doesn’t need to kill or buy shit
