Parent-Teacher conference techniques:
- Ask the students what they would like you to say
- Invite the students to prepare a portfolio and come along
2. - Start by asking “What can I tell you?”
- If you listen to parents they will tell you what you need to know about
teaching their child
- Facilitate a discussion between the student and parent
- Write notes afterwards
These are a great opporuntity to learn about the student, get the parents on side
and make sure that everyone is on the same page.
