This document outlines the topics and expectations for student presentations on Asia and Africa/Middle East since 1945. Students will be assigned to one of nine sections to research and develop presentation materials answering a series of questions. These include defining terms, identifying people and explaining events and concepts. Presenters must be prepared to label locations on a map and answer additional questions without prior review. Notes must be submitted along with responses to 10 questions per section. Students should also complete related homework in the textbook.

1. Asia Since 1945 and Africa and the Middle East Since 1945<br />Your group will be answering a series of questions dealing with one of the following sections.<br />What happened in your section after 1945.<br />Some guidelines:<br />You should define all bold faced terms in your sections.<br />All famous people from your section must be identified<br />Important events and concepts need to be explained.<br />You should be able to label all places referenced in your section on a map.<br />Look for your area of the world in Chapters 23 and 24.<br />-I will provide an ATR question sheet for each section that the presenters must be able to answer without having seen the sheet prior to presenting.<br />-You can have all of your notes in front of the class and will be graded based on how well you answer the questions posed to you from your section. <br />-You will also need to turn in all notes from your section that you worked on.
