• Veterans Issues Research Reflection #2
Say hello to netvibes and goodbye to google and yahoo. That is exactly what I have done. Netvibes has proved to work wonders for me. I love the widgets that are available for me to use. Everything is so handy and convenient for me. I feel so much more organized and I appreciate the fact that there are search engines directly built into the site. Everything is just a click away. I really loved the fact that I can customize my own page. I was able to pick some pictures that I really liked and incorporate them into my themes for the page. I am very pleased with this system and I can’t wait to see what else it has in store for me. Just previously, Mrs. Hamilton performed netvibes triage with us and I was able to discover more wonderful widgets from netvibes. Now, I have direct links to the libguides page and the class agenda. I feel that this will save me much more time in the future and will be less of a hassle for me. I can see that I am definitely going to be much more organized with the use of my netvibes account. I am really excited to start putting together my public page about female veterans. I have found some extremely captivating pictures that I am sure many will enjoy. I love mixing my creativity with knowledge. It just leads to an awesome presentation which I hope to deliver to the class!
