Hardywood Brewery was creating home movies with
good viewership, but the videos didn’t have their desired
polish and edge. Therefore, they reached out to a
professional videographer to create a new feel of their
craft movement. This was proved to be unsuccessful as
the videos were too staged and not the look they had
hoped for. In result, they were hoping for a more down
to earth, but professional approach.

- 3. Approach
In honor of the SB604 bill that passed, allowing customers
to enjoy commercial beer on site, Hardywood created a
SB604 lager. This lager was presented by the Virginia
governor. SUCCESSWERKS planned to create a
professional video to be posted on YouTube, documenting
this launch with a fast paced, edgy vibe.

- 5. Outcome
SUCCESSWERKS shot an entertaining video using different
camera angles, with modern techniques to create a “MTV
style” video. This told both the SB604 story, showcased the
SB604 lager, and let Hardywood’s character and story shine
through. Hardywood was able to distribute the video
through social media networks and received a positive
response.
