SCENE 1 – THE POEM SCENE
•   The Piece opens with the poem being read out loud by Jess P and Bron. –Holding the balloon -
•   “Since Christmas they have lived with us,
    Guileless and clear,
    Oval soul-animals,
    Taking up half the space,
    Moving and rubbing on the silk

    Invisible air drifts,
    Giving a shriek and pop
    When attacked, then scooting to rest, barely trembling.
    Yellow cathead, blue fish--------
    Such queer moons we live with”
•   There will be FOUR couples around the edge of the readers coming in abstractly, one by one. As
    well as the music call and response. Until “Such queer moons we live with” which will be further
    heightened by Kev playing the ♫Aa-a-ah’s motif on his guitar.


•   Transition: at “queer moons…” all 4 couples move together to walk out, Jess heads in,
    integrating herself within the leaving couples. Joe enters and sits down, given the balloon
    from Jess. The remainder of the chorus will click In the sound of rain so that Jess P and Bron
    know when to leave.
SCENE 2 – THE PUPPET SCENE
•   Jess B and Ashimma start their puppetry sequence. With Joe and Kev responding to
    Jess’s ♫Aa-a-ah’s.
•   Once Ashimma is up, Rhys and Connor enter mimicking what Jess and Ashimma were
    doing with Connor using ♫Aa-a-ah’s.
•   The piece will come to a silence, when the puppets fail to respond to ♫Aa-a-ah’s.
•   They begin to sing ♫Feel It Touch It Breathe It in collision with ♫Aa-a-ah’s
•   The Company all sing ♫Aa-a-ah’s. Whilst Jess walks over to Joe, collects the balloon,
    returns to gives Ashimma the Balloon.


•   Transition: Rhys pulls in the other puppets, –Ashimma Is Holding the balloon -
    Puppeteers leave the stage. Still singing ♫Feel It Touch It Breathe It in collision
    with ♫Aa-a-ah’s. However new puppets singing ♫Feel It Touch It Breathe
SCENE 3 – THE OPEN AIR SCENE
•   Chorus of puppets enter staggered around the stage, still singing ♫Feel It Touch It
    Breathe
•    Until a musical transition will occur when the puppets become affected by the wind.
    Which will be highlighted by both the guitar changing rhythm as well as the puppets
    swaying to the wind.
•   Kevin will give the musical transition which will enable the puppets to do a full swing,
    which will be highlighted further by Kevin using the neck of the guitar for a wind effect.
•   “♫ Wind Soundscape” By the chorus. As the wind enters and takes away certain
    puppets. Bron and Emily C are now –Holding the balloon – given to them by Ashimma,
    are left to sing ♫Sky Is So Blue in harmony with each other. With the wind positioned
    around them effectively.
•   Transition: The Chorus joins in with ♫Sky Is So Blue and the wind finally takes the
    remaining to puppets away. And Evangeline will be given the balloon to dance with.
SCENE 4 – THE STORM/ THE CLASH
•   When Emily and Bron have been taking off by two members of the wind. Evangeline is
    now –Holding the balloon - The Storm dance begins complementing ♫ The Storm
    Soundscape. Which must hit a climax of some loudness.
•   Transition: The dance ends, Laura and Joe come from within the storm, Evangeline
    will give Laura the Balloon. They will be dancing and integrating within the storm.
    Until they reach the Safe confinement of the two umbrellas.
SCENE 5 – THE SAFE CONFINEMENT
•   Once Joe and Laura have reached the safe environment, –Holding the balloon - they will
    repeat the stanza of the poem. Whilst the chorus create rain, outside lightly underneath.
•   “Invisible air drifts,
    Giving a shriek and pop
    When attacked, then scooting to rest, barely trembling.
    Yellow cathead, blue fish--------
    “Such queer moons we live with”
•   After they have done, the umbrellas will be released and the helium balloons will fly out of
    them as the rain stops. We will recreate SUN. Laura will then let the Balloon fly in the air,
    once all the balloons have left.
•   They Will run off. To the chorus singing ♫ Such queer moons we live with
THE END. –STANDING AUDIENCE CLAPPING TILL
THEIR HANDS HURT”

Whats going to happen
