Agra Fort is known for the eminent building inside it, such as the
Diwan-e-Am, Pearl Mosque, Jahangir’s Palace, Shish Mahal
among others. The fort stands in front of the river and has a
semi-circular outline that looks magnificent.
7. 3 Fatehpur Sikri
A capital during the Mughal Empire of Akbar, the navratnas or
9 jewels were housed in Fatehpur Sikri. The use of red stones

8. 4 Jama Masjid

Agra Fort, the Jama Masjid
was built by Emperor Shah
Jahan for his daughter as a
depiction of his love. It

that is embellished with slim
turrets accompanied by kiosks
placed alternatively. In addition,
the central portal has an
archway made of marble and
black stones that are decorated
using inscriptions written in
Persian. This fort was
completed in a time frame of
six years with the help of more
than 5000 workers.
