Re: Proposal for Brandsoftheworld.com White paper
Thank you for taking the time to read over and consider my proposal. I'm requesting permission to spend
15 hours researching and producing out a white paper on an online tool called brandsoftheworld.com. The
research I obtain will help and show students that the web site can be used to their advantages. It mostly
helps Digital Media Design Technology students, and graphic designers.
I. Time is Money
Some students and graphic designers don't always meet their deadlines. When they don't
meet their deadlines, then that can result in getting fired at a job. In student cases getting a
zero for an assignment. Sometimes when students are in such a hurry they don't put all they
can into their projects.
If students are smart, they'll create a logo themselves. When you create your own vector logo,
you shouldn't have any problems with the image losing quality at all. It's because you created a
vector graphic that is loss less.
When creating an advertisement for a company or instructor, it can get pretty frustrating.
Students tend to steal logos off the internet, which can result in an image losing its quality.
When an image loses quality then it's not worth as much as it would be if it didn't lose quality
to begin with. At least that's how it is in this industry of Digital Design. In this industry time is
money, if you want to make the big bucks.
II. The Answer
My online tool, brandsoftheworld, can solve many problems. It helps Digital Media Design
students save time by getting free vector graphics that don't lose quality when increasing the
size. Many students tend to use graphics, and logos from online. When students increase the
size of a jpeg graphic, it loses quality in the image. All the logo brands from brandsoftheworld
are 100 percent vector graphics that are lossless files. What that means is lossless files don't
lose quality in the picture when increasing the size, like the lossy graphics do. This web site is a
great resource for graphic designers to upload their own logo designs aswell. This web site is
user friendly and allows students to browse through thousands of brands and logos for mock
up presentations. This web site also has a job link which can help students search
for agencies that are looking for workers.
III. Researching
2. I have done enough research on my online tool, brandsoftheworld that I have created a
survey. The survey consists of 10 simple question regarding my online tool. I have passed
out the survey to 20 DMDT (Digital Media Design Technology) students from TSTC who
already know of the web site.
The survey information and answers will help me to write the white paper. I will also be
researching the web site more, in hope to find out more information. Once I am done
researching, I will put all my results and notes together to help me write out my white
paper.
The white paper will consist of 700 - 1000 words typed out on Microsoft Word. The white
paper will get students attention to not only browse through the web site, but to use it as
well. This paper will benefit students that are getting their degree in the DMDT program
at TSTC.
The white paper will surely open DMDT student eyes. It will get their attention as well as
help them out for future projects that need logos. Not every student has all the time in the
world to recreate every little spec in a logo. With my online tool brandsoftheworld
students don't need to worry about deadlines, because of recreating logos. Thank you for
