PanoVR is an immersive collaborative viewer for 360° media content which allows multiple users to interact with and experience content at the same time while performing collaborative video analytical tasks. When multiple users connect to the conference, they enter into the same stream of footage and are given information about where others users are looking. We integrate situational awareness, video annotation, and interpersonal communication tools to the immersive video experience.

Designing for augmentation at the Internet of Things era
Designing for augmentation at the Internet of Things era
Pierrick Thébault
The IoT (internet of things) is bringing forth a new interaction paradigm. How we interact with the digital world is transforming. We no longer should be regarding the internet as a screen based media, its physical, audible, haptic. How do we design interfaces for this new era?

The Internet of Things has entered the mainstream with products and start-ups popping up everywhere. The revolution in connected ‘things’ is set to disrupt all areas of our lives. How are brands successfully exploiting this opportunity? And, what of brands that don’t understand this brave new world? Similarly, consumers (and humanity at large) face an equally profound shift, so, what questions will be asked of brands and designers as our technology gets ever more intimately integrated into our everyday lives?
