On November 30th, 2007, UsabilityMatters.Org and allied organizations will join communities to mark the celebrations of UMO2007 and World Usability Day in Hyderabad. World Usability Day is a world wide self-organized event with the goal to promote the fields of Usability Engineering and User-Centered Design. The event is designed to raise awareness about the importance of 'Good Design for Better Living'. We invite all those who are playing their part both actively and passively in 'Making it Easy'. That design is not a domain limited to few disciplines, but indeed design is there in every discipline that makes it easy for consumers. We are not just talking about internet and cell phones, but technology is everything we use, i.e., cars, microwave ovens, door knobs, etc., and yes computers too. Eminent people from the academia, industry, business and governance will be sharing their views and insights on this day. Entries received from worldwide for the 'Bad Design Competition' and for the 'International Cartoon Contest' will be on display during this event. We request you to support us in making the UMO 2007 an awareness generating and difference making success by sponsoring.
