Our signature event is MoxieFest. The event was created as a way for successful
women in business to interact with, inspire and mentor the next generation of
women who will fill their shoes and as a way for girls to get inspired, learn about
leadership and believe in their own leadership abilities. We want everyone
involved thinking about what’s possible for women in business and to create
relationships that inspire those possibilities. The event includes workshops led by
the Girl’s Leadership Institute, a speed mentoring program, and discussion about
leadership led by our national speakers. We’re using our moxie powers for good!
1. MoxieFest 2011
OVERVIEW:
The Go Girl Project is dedicated to mobilizing the moxie of the next generation of
female leaders. We focus on girls ages 10-18 who are in the rockiest part of their
journey to leadership. We want to smooth out the bumps on their leadership path
so they can grab the reigns at an earlier age and be confident in their ability to
lead. As a part of The Moxie Exchange Movement, The Go Girl Project is our
way of connecting successful women and emerging girls so we can pay it
forward and leave a legacy of leadership for women.
We have an aggressive goal of positively impacting 6,000 girls in the next 3
years through our events and scholarships.
