One of my first tasks at I 105 was to revamp website and generate new revenue streams. this document shows what tile ads could be worth.

1. Big I 105.com, the new wrench in our toolbox!<br />I installed a visiting tracker program on Thursday March 1, 2007 at 8:35am. At 11:35am I printed a sample of the results. In three hours, we’ve had 78 traceable users. The tracker is set to ignore hits from our in-house web service. In other words, anyone in this building who views our website is not tallied.<br />Of these 78 users, about 85% are in Berks, Lancaster and Lebanon counties. We’ve also had hits from, The Lehigh Valley, Philadelphia and Los Angeles, just to name a few. Of the 78 users, 32 users have hit the tracker more than once, potentially seeing a specific client’s ad twice, and potentially navigating several pages at one “TSS” (Time Spent Surfing). At this rate, we are averaging 23 page hits per hour!<br />I have three styles of advertising opportunities with our website. Each ad opens in a new browser window, leaving the listener right where they left off at thebigi105.com <br />The first is a 125x125 pixel “tile ad.” Below is an example:<br />The next style is a banner advertisement, which measures 468x70:<br />The third is sponsorship of specific elements of the site. The I 105 Country Club, Daily Nascar reports and Daily CMT news are great items for sponsorship. Room for growth, like streaming, main promotional mentions (I.E. Giant’s involvement with CMN Thon) and more are also available.<br />Each advertisement graphic price with Citadel Wilkes Barre and Allentown markets is $75-$100 per week and the larger banner’s price is $250 per week. These are figures from Sales Representative Jim Johnston (jim.johnston@citcomm.com). There are between 13-15 opportunities available on our site. If each advertising opportunity sells, the potential income from our website alone is over $50,000 annually. Space is expandable, and the site design is flexible to grow with our demands.<br />The preliminary page viewers data can be used like an Arbitron Trend… it’s a snapshot of our performance representing the website to our listeners.
