OBJECTIVE: Algebra Readiness is a one-year course designed to prepare 8th graders for Algebra 1. It is
imperative that students master pre-algebraic skills and concepts BEFORE they enroll in a course that meets or exceeds
the rigor of the content standards for Algebra 1.
EXPECTATIONS: You are expected to: Required Materials
Give 100% effort, TRY ALL assignments 2 pencils at ALL times (and erasers)
Seek help when you need it At least 1 highlighter or colored pencils
