Iguazu (Iguassu) Falls are one of the most
popular and recognizable waterfalls in the world
located on the Brazilian and Argentinian borders
It is bigger than the state of Maryland and the
country of Belgium. It was created in 1934 and
features over 275 waterfalls. The spectacular
Iguazu Falls are located in the northeast corner
of the country where the borders of Argentina,
Brazil and Paraguay meet. Some consider Iguazu
Falls the most spectacular waterfalls in the world
surpassing Niagara Falls in North America and
Victoria Falls in Africa.
