RAFA NADAL
Rafael Nadal Parera is a left handed professional Spanish tennis player, currently
the second in men’s singles tennis by the ATP (Association of Tennis
Professionals). In his career he has won 17 Grand Slam singles titles making it the
second male player with the most Grand Slam titles in the history. Nadal has won
11 French Grand Slam titles, 3 USA Grand Slam titles, 2 Wimbledon titles and 1
Australian Grand Slam titles. He has also won two olympic gold medals, he won
the first gold medal in Beijing individually and he won the second olympic medal in
Rio de Janeiro in doubles with Marc Lopez.
3. JAI ALAI
Jai Alai is a Basque sport where you need a leather ball, a cesta and a special
helmet. It was first played approximately in the 14th century. These sport can be
played individually or in pairs and it is played indoors or outdoors. The Basque
Government promotes jai alai “the fastest sport in the world” because of the speed
of the ball. Ibon Aldazabal has the world record of the ball speed with 190 MPH
(305 km/h).
