Duane Home is a well-known financial services representative with extensive
knowledge in the insurance and financial services industries. He is a Native Houstonian
and has been practicing since 1993. His specialty is working with Pre-Retirees to help
protect and grow their wealth.
Duane has been featured as an expert on Houston's Fox Morning News.
Duane is a Chartered Life Underwriter that required him to complete ten
comprehensive exams covering major aspects of life insurance, annuities and long-term
care insurance. Duane also is a Chartered Financial Consultant that gives him the broad
knowledge and skills necessary to provide comprehensive financial planning services to
clients. Furthermore, Duane is a Certified Financial Planner which required him to
complete two years of course material focusing on financial planning and pass a two-day,
ten-hour exam proving his knowledge in the arenas of taxes, investments and estate
planning. As a Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow he has demonstrated real world
application of advanced financial services programs and techniques.
He is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin where he majored in Finance. He
was named Who's Who of Professional Management. Duane is also a current Life
Member (10 consecutive years qualification) of the prestigious Million Dollar Round
Table; an association representing the top 6% of insurance and financial advisors in the
world.
Duane is an active committee member of the Houston Golf Association serving local
Houston charities. He lives with his wife, Tanessa, and two daughters. Tiffany and
Ashlyn, and his son, Carson, on the northwest side of Houston in Coles Crossing.
